Definition of kibbitz
Kibbitz or Kibbitzer: For our purpose, kibbitz is a Yiddish word meaning to chat, etc. In the traditional sense, when someone talks too much or gets involved in in a subject when they shouldn't, they're called a kibbitzer. Kibbitz usually means unsolicited or unwanted advice. A person who offers that advice is a kibbitzer, also known as a meddlesome spectator.
